Hana's Suitcase

Grade 6 went to the J.C.C. for Hana's suitcase last Tuesday.
Hana's suitcase is about Japanese students who have the suitcase of Hana Brady, a young girl who died in the Holocaust. In an effort to find out more about Hana, they sends letters to many different museums but none of them have any information on Hana Brady. Eventually they find out
Hana's brother, George is still alive, and send him a letter, and get a reply a few weeks later. The students are shocked at how bad the Holocaust was, and they commit themselves to telling Hana's story so others will understand, and to help make sure the horrors of the past are not repeated again . I thought it was a great production.
