Aliie Finkles Rules For Girls

Allie finkle's rules for girls

Rules rules rules! Do you like rules? I like rules and so does Allie Finkle the girl in this book.

Allie's rule #5: You Can't Let Your Family Move Into A Haunted House.

"At first I just stood there staring at them because they were the only forms of life I'd seen in our new neighbourhood the whole we we'd been there. All the house on our new street were just like ours- big and scary- looking with lots of turrets and windows and yards surrounded by tall hedges and old trees with creepy branches- and so i just i assumed that old people lived in all of them."

This book is called Allie Finkles Rules For Girls- Moving Day by Meg Cabot

Fourth grader Allie loves rules because she thinks it makes her life easier. Allie moves to a new neighbourhood and she doesn't like it! She writes a book of rules help her live in her new life. In the beginning the rules were not helping her and her life was miserable. Allie made a new friend named Erica and everything started to look better.

Read the first page of the book

I'd recommend this book to girls in grade 4,5 and 6 and who like realistic fiction.

Allie Finkles Rules For Girls is available at the school library, the public library and Chapters
