Primary Sources have many benefits.
Primary Sources are true because they are first hand and not copied or made up.
Sometimes they express personal feelings or thoughts of a person like in a diary or journal.
Primary sources are good for biographies because they have certain details or emotions.
sometimes primary sources are hard to understand or hard to find the exact information that you might be looking for but since primary sources are first hand you are sure that the information is true and reliable.

There are many benefits to primary sources and here i will tell you some of them and why; with primary sources there usually right because hey if your reading a diary who can be more right than the actual person? You also get to know the personality of the person by how they write if its a letter and in that same letter or diary you in a way get to experience it first hand. finally with a primary source its the original not a copy!. But remember with all advantages come disadvantages.

I think primary sources are very good because if you want to know about somebody’s life during a war a text book can’t give you that kind of information. You know it’s real and not made up. You get the information first hand. But it’s very hard to find and some times somebody will make a false document. But over all primary sources are very helpful.
