Israel Update #3

Hi everybody!

I am back in Vancouver! Our family came back yesterday night. We didn’t get one of our suitcases (we did get the other 7! :) ) and we’re hoping to get it today or tomorrow. I couldn’t wake up this morning as I was so jet-lagged but I will come to school tomorrow. It is so much colder here with all of the snow than in Israel with all of the sun!

There were a few more things about my trip that I wanted to share with you but I didn’t have enough time to write about them while I was still in Israel so here they are…

While we were in Israel we went to “Me’arat HaNetifim” (Dripstone Cave). It is really cool because even though it is all natural, you can still see different shapes in the “Netifim”. For example, there is a dripstone that looks like an elephant ear, and another one looks like snow white and the seven dwarves, etc.

We’ve also been to a place called Mini Israel. Mini Israel is a place which has mini models of many attractions in Israel. There is the Western Wall, the golden Kippa, the airport, the “Kneset”, the main sport stadium etc.

On Saturday evening my grandparents took me to a show called Mayumana. It’s a show with singing and lots of drum playing. David Broza, who is a famous Israeli singer, performed there as well.

My trip was so much fun, but it’s also great to be back in Vancouver.

See you all tomorrow!
