A Poems First Draft (by Bram)

A little early to write about this, but please comment. Thanks.

School's Out

School is cool
So is the pool
Homework is an annoyance
Rafts are buoyant
Recess is fun
Swimming in the sun
Band practice is early
Off the diving board I do a twirly
The library has lots of books
In the pool there is no crooks
School is out
Now lets scream and shout
Summer is here
3 2 1 cheer
Jump in the pool
School is out you fool
School will come back
Not for 2 months Jack
You're right my friend
School is not right around the bend

What do you think.

Thanks for giving us a little bit of summer vacation, Bram! Good rhymes in this one. I would suggest playing around with the syllables and stanza breaks to create a more consistent cadence.

Thanks for sharing!
