Benefits of Primary Sources

I think primary sources are good because for example, if you are asking a grandparent about their childhood, they can give you first hand information for, lets say, your project. Primary sources are first hand information, which makes them very reliable. The one thing with primary sources, is that they are often hard to find, if you are looking for a letter, or a journal than looking for other types of information. Primary sources can be anything from a note or letter to a map.
