Climbing a mountain is an extreme challenge. There are many things that can go terribly wrong. Either, you can follow the wrong path, and get lost. You can also severely injure yourself. Or even come across dangerous and unwanted creatures.

While climbing you might find yourself taking the wrong trail. If you do so, you will loose your way and have to retrace your steps. If you go the wrong way then you might end up in a complete different location, causing much confusion among you and your fellow hiking companions. Loosing your way is a big issue for climbers.

Climbing is also associated with injury, which is fairly true. Whenever you climb, there is a chance you will slip, fall and damage something. Mountains are not very safe environments, so you must be incredibly cautious when climbing along these areas, you could break a bone or two if you don't. Pain and injury is a common issue for climbers.

Whenever in mountain ranges, you should keep your eyes peeled for threatening animals such as bears, delusional deer, mountain goats or cougars. These and many more are dangerous animals that you do not want to come across while peacefully climbing up a mountain. They would most likely bring your journey and life to a tragic end. Dangerous animals are also threats to climbers.

Mountain climbing is very risky. Many unfortunate events can happen to you while doing so, and you will find yourself in perilous situations. You could loose your way. Injure yourself. Meet carnivorous creatures and more. These are just a few reasons why mountain climbing is a dangerous challenge.
