Every Thursday soccer is amazing, but last week we had a practice that made me shake in disgust. First, our coach, who is usually diverting, was in a crummy mood. As soon as practice started he had this grimace on his face. We had to run five more circuits around the field than usual. My legs were enervated, and the work had only just got underway! We then had to do sprints for ten endless minutes. I thought I was was going to retch! Even after all we've been through we still didn't get to touch the ball for another half an hour.
