Our opening Statement!

Good afternoon, Mr. Gelmon and fellow students.
This Opening statement will show why books are the best...

Yes, Google may have millions of web pages. Yes, Wiki's may have unlimited amounts of information. Yes, Periodicals can be useful. And yes, Primary Sources are first hand.
But, then there are books...
And that is Our group!
We believe books are the finest source, because, you don't need Wi-Fi, you don't need to put stress on yourself by searching for hours for an old newspaper, you don't need to worry about your information being false... all you have to worry about is being overloaded with information.
As Charles W. Eliot said:
"Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers."
We are sure by the end of our presentation on Japanese and Canadian society you all will feel that books are very helpful sources!

Sincerely,
Hana, Carly, Dara and Shane.
