Response To Execution
Hi guys could you please comment on my poem
at restaurants. One day I wish I could meet my grandma.

Response to someday
I can not respond to this poem because I never experience playing a guitar and don't know how to play any songs on a guitar. But I know how to make my own short songs that don't seem well. Maybe I could take guitar classes or ask my friends to tech me how to play or watch my friends play the guitar and ask them what is this note. Maybe one day I will know how to play a guitar and play other people songs or make up my own song.

The Beach
Hi everyone,
I started writing a poem but I am stuck and I don't know what to write next.
Here it is:
Playing in the sand
making an island
out of shovels and pails
watching the fish’ scales
Looking at the sea
not so far away from me
the waves
crashing against the
seashore

thank you
Marko
Thank you for the comment Mr. G I think this is better
The Japanese invented this weapon for hatred, and I believe that is wrong. I think death should be natural not by machines and bullets. I also think desperation should never be a reason to kill someone, or to kill your self. But there are many other people who disagree with my thoughts, like the people of the kamikaze and the military who would give their lives up for their country. Thank you!

Simple example of expository essay
Here is an example of a five paragraph essay. Pay attention to the colours!
My favorite pet is my dog, Romeo. He is beautiful and easy to care for. Playing with him is lots of fun. He always takes care of me. I have never had a better pet.
Romeo is beautiful and easy to care for. He is a tricolor Sheltie, mostly black with white and a bit of brown. Caring for him is easy because I simply have to make sure he has fresh water and food every day. I exercise him by throwing his toys. Because he is good looking and doesn’t require much care Romeo is a good pet.
Romeo is lots of fun to play with. He loves to play catch. He follows me around the house with a toy and drops it on my foot so I will toss it. He can catch just about anything, but his favorite is chasing a Frisbee. I really have fun playing with Romeo.
Romeo takes care of me. He always follows me when I leave a room. When I am sitting on a couch he plops down right beside me. On sunny days when we are hiking in the woods he always makes sure that I keep up with the rest of the family. He always watches out for me.
As you can see, Romeo is a great pet. I am proud of him and he doesn’t require much care. Playing with him is very pleasurable. I am always safe because he watches over me. Romeo is a wonderful pet.

Question for essay maps
Hi Mr. Gelmon
I know Isabelle already asked What do you do for the conclusion on the blog but I still don't get it. Because you said you don't put your whole essay on your map, just notes. And I don't really have an introduction paragraph so I can't wrap it up.
Please Help!

A Poems First Draft (by Bram)
School's Out
School is cool
So is the pool
Homework is an annoyance
Rafts are buoyant
Recess is fun
Swimming in the sun
Band practice is early
Off the diving board I do a twirly
The library has lots of books
In the pool there is no crooks
School is out
Now lets scream and shout
Summer is here
3 2 1 cheer
Jump in the pool
School is out you fool
School will come back
Not for 2 months Jack
You're right my friend
School is not right around the bend
What do you think.

Baseball is the Best Team Sport
Baseball is the best team sport because everyone has to do their job or else the game won’t flow properly, and everyone uses their own unique talent to contribute their part for the team. For example, if your teammates didn’t work together it would be harder to advance the ball to where you wanted it to go.
In baseball, the players usually specialize in a position and have different qualities that can help the team win. For example, the pitcher has to throw the ball in different ways to increase his or her chance of getting it passed the batter.
In baseball you have to have 9 players to fill the positions on the field, and if you don’t, you won’t move the ball as fast as you usually would with 9, which would increase your chance of losing.
Basketball, soccer, and hockey are all team sports but in hockey and the other sports I listed you can take the ball/puck the whole way up the field/court. In baseball you can’t run with the ball and chase the other team around, so you have to relay it around to get the ball to the teammate closest to the opponent to get them out. And that’s how I know that baseball is the best team sport.

Question for Persuasion Maps
Hi Mr. G,
I was wondering if instead of "baseball is not the best team sport to play" I could do: "Basketball [or any other sport] is better than baseball".

Thank You London Drugs
Me (Jake-ee) and Marc L. were at London Drugs. We saw this prize wheel and span it. Then, an employee came and said, "Come back in five minutes and you can win great chocolate prizes."
Ten Minutes Later...
We came back and they had just opened the wheel. Marc was the first person to go for the day. He spun and won a small, little, hollow, Lindt chocolate bunny. I was second up and since we came early the jackpot prize was still up for grabs. I spun, it twirled around three times and just barely landed on the jackpot winning number.
It was a 1 kilo chocolate bunny worth $65 !!!!!!
